A Life Too Short
Remembering Joe
Art was an important part of Joe's life and some of his work is shown here on the art gallery page.  From an early age, Joe's art work allowed him a means of expression.  It was a gift he often took for granted.  Joe also instilled his love of art in his younger sister, Jaclyn who created this portrait of Joe in tribute to her brother.

This site has been designed to offer a glimpse into Joe's life and the importance to him of his family and his art.  We have also tried to provide some information and background that we hope will be helpful to the many people who have expressed their condolences to our family in our time of abject grief.  We have come to realize the extent to which many people are affected by Joe's death and we hope to reach out to those of you who have been shocked and dismayed to learn of Joe's untimely death...at least partially due to not knowing what was going on in Joe's life at the time of his death.  Although the circumstances surrounding the end of Joe's life are highly personal we hope in this way to help others find a way to deal with this loss.

You will find photos of Joe through the years, an art gallery of some of his art work and some information about the memorial services that were conducted for Joe.  We expect this site to be an ongoing memoriam to Joe, so we are also encouraging you to make this an interactive experience.  You'll find numerous conveniently located opportunities to send us an email or share your thoughts in our guest book.
